Methodology
At WATERisLIFE, we believe solving the water crisis isn’t about doing more—it’s about doing better. That’s why we focus on fewer projects at a time, with deeper involvement and lasting impact.
Our methodology is grounded in empathy, simplicity, and sustainability.
Every step is taken with the community.
Our approach follows five key phases:

1
Community Engagement & Diagnosis
We begin by listening. We meet with local leaders, youth, and women to understand their needs, habits, and existing water sources. Every project starts with trust.

2
Co-Design & Planning
Together with the community, we design solutions adapted to the local context—socially, technically, and economically. We prioritize what already exists and what can be maintained locally.

3
Implementation & Training
We install water and sanitation systems using simple, cost-effective technologies. We also train local teams—especially youth and women—to manage and maintain the systems.

4
Follow-up & Maintenance
We remain in the community for at least two years, providing ongoing support, maintenance, and mentorship. We sign agreements that define shared responsibilities and ensure financial sustainability.

5
Empowerment & Handover
When the community is ready, they assume full leadership of the project. Our goal is not control—it’s autonomy.
